ALTAR – Ongoing throughout event

The community Altar will help us honor the memory of all the people who left too soon to follow the path of our Ancestors. In particular, we commemorate our loved ones who’s sudden passing was in part due to the injustices in the workplace and, for many, during the pandemic. In this community Altar we will have candles, offerings, and a craft station to make paper flowers. Most importantly we ask for your help to bring pictures of your loved ones, not just for us rather to share with our organizations and community. Please don’t forget to bring their picture or a special item that reminds you of your loved one. They were always essential, and in our collective memory and in our hearts, they will never be forgotten.
