Registration will begin on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 1:00pm in Downs Hall. During registration you will pick up your welcome packet including a copy of the program, a lanyard with your credentials, your room key if you are staying on campus, and a map of the university. Ushers will help participants to their dorm rooms and attendees will be able to settle into their dorm rooms before the Sunday program starts at 5:00pm.
If you arrive after 5:00pm or on the following day(s), please do not worry we will still have registration open.
CHECK-IN PROCESS
All check-in materials must be picked up at Downs Hall at the Registration Station. It is the responsibility of the main contact to distribute all check-in materials to participants in your delegation. Check in begins at 1:00pm on June 2, 2024
CHECK-OUT PROCESS
The Main Contact for your organization is responsible for collecting keys from all delegates and returning all keys to NDLON staff at the Registration Station during check-out. Keys not returned to NDLON upon check-out will be considered lost and will be billed to member organizations. You must check out by 4:00pm on Friday, June 7, 2024. On your departure day, please be sure to bring down all of your belongings from your room. There will be bins in each residence hall where you can place your linens near the entrance of each hall.
LODGING
Registered participants who requested lodging will be housed at two of Kean University’s dorm rooms, their Freshman Residence Hall and Upperclassmen Residence Hall. You will always need your Kean ID card to enter your residence hall, please do not lose your keycard. Participants will be sharing double-occupancy rooms (two twin xl beds) with private bathrooms in each suite. Please note that Kean University is a non-smoking and dry (alcohol free) campus. Attendees will have access to Wi-Fi and NDLON will provide a linens package found in your dorm rooms at check-in. The linens package includes a flat sheet, fitted sheet, pillow, pillow case, blanket, face towel, and bath towel. There is no daily housekeeping service in these facilities. MEALS
Asamblea participants will receive meals starting with dinner on Sunday June 2, 2024 through lunch on Friday, June 7, 2024. Most of our meals will take place at Downs Hall except for Wednesday, June 5, 2024. If you have any dietary restrictions please let us know ahead of time when registering, we will do our best to accommodate participants’ needs. We will offer vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options with prior notice. Please review the Week at a Glance section for more details on meal times and locations.
WI-FI ACCESS FOR GUESTS
Wi-Fi information will be given when guests do their check-in.
INTERPRETATION
NDLON’s goal is to make our space as bilingual as possible. Anyone who does not speak both English and Spanish comfortably can request interpretation at the Interpretation Station located in the lobby at Downs Hall at the beginning of each day. Please be sure to return interpretation equipment at the end of each day or after use, so we can give your identification back.
CHILDCARE
To encourage full participation, childcare will be provided on-site for local attendees. Parents, please be sure to bring any necessary supplies (diapers, formula, preferred snacks, etc).
Please note: Childcare will not be provided at off-site events (actions, cultural nights, etc). Children must also be with parents during meals.
